1.) You must be a born again believer in Jesus Christ.

2.) You must have completed the 8 week New Members Class.

3.) You must complete a CHC Volunteer Application, which may be obtained from the contact person in the ministry that you are interested in serving.


nursery ministry

The nursery is here for children age 6 weeks to kindergarten.  We have lead teachers and workers who care for these children and teach them the basic principles of the Bible while their parents attend service.


Steps to becoming involved:

The latest statistic shows that if a child doesn’t make a decision for Christ by the age of 12 there is an 85% chance that child will never be reached. We have to raise the standard in our homes, schools, churches, and communities. We are doing just that in our Student Ministry here at CHC. We know that it takes the power of God, coupled with fun and excitement that is on the cutting edge. We want parents to know that their children will be ministered to in a safe, loving, and Christ centered environment here at CHC. We are raising the standard!

Christian Heritage Church Campus Ministries (CHCM)

CYP serves people ages 18-30, whether you are a college student or a young professional in the work field. media ministry

We are an integral part of the ministry to reach and save souls. Our product presents our Pastor and our Church to people we may never meet or know.  We are dedicated to bringing God’s message to as many souls as possible through media technology and excellence.  Our initiative is to train and equip our volunteer staff to take this vision to our current congregation, nationwide, and to the world.

greeters ministry

The Greeters Ministry is more than merely standing at the door and shaking hands. You are helping the Pastor fulfill the vision God has given him by making those who come through the doors of the church feel at home with a smile, a handshake, and a kind word. 

Steps to becoming involved:

1.)  Appointment with the Head Greeter who will review greeter

duties with you and then allow you to greet - paired with an experienced Greeter.


Formal training is done from time to time to update greeters of new policies and procedures. We require all greeters to attend these training sessions.

ushers

The Usher Ministry is a vital part of the Church body and aids in every service at CHC.  Every usher is directly responsible for helping Pastor Ledford fulfill his mission by keeping things running smoothly during services.  The usher is a representative of the Church and is known for his/her commitment, faithfulness, positive attitude, and behavior as he/she serves as unto the Lord Jesus Christ.


Steps to becoming involved:

1.) Set up appointment with Head Usher

2.) Assignment to a Team Leader to review the Usher ‘s Manual with you and then allow you to usher - paired with an experienced Usher. 


Formal training is done from time to time to update ushers of new policies and procedures. We require all ushers to attend these training sessions.


parking lot ministry

The Parking Lot (Jabez) Ministry exists to broaden the parking lot of CHC to make room for people who do not know Jesus Christ as Lord.  Also, we facilitate cars to move in and out of the CHC parking lot quickly, comfortably, and safely.  


Steps to becoming involved:

1.) Sign up at Guest Services

2.) Pick up a ministry handbook and read over it

3.) Wait for contact from Ministry Head


Come your first Sunday at 8:15 a.m. in front of the church.  Shadow a worker for the first week.



prison ministry

1.) Attend a Prison Ministry meeting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month

2.) Appointment with Donald Gavin

3.) Attend a certification course given by the Florida Department of Corrections
